About Scoville Food Institute
- Here at the Scoville Food Institute, we make REALLY GREAT hot sauces.
All of our hot sauces are all-natural, with no preservatives or artificial ingredients.
We study hot peppers and try to come up with new, flavorful hot sauces. We write reports, do lots of thinking, planning, and designing. We also make REALLY COOL t-shirts. And we are proud to associate our company & our hot sauces with Wilbur Scoville, "The Father of Pepper Pungency". Scoville was a mild-mannered and hard working chemist/scientist who invented a ranking/rating scale measuring the pungency of peppers way back in the late 1800's. He was the proud recipient of Ebert Prize in 1922.
We are proud to announce our complete line of sauces.We currently have 7 different hot sauces bottled! No matter what your preference, mild to medium to hot, we have a sauce for you.
And for those of you who normally shy away from "hot sauces", please give ours a try.
We sometimes refer to them as cooking sauces, and you can add a little or a lot to taste.
